What's up right now

We’re (almost) back from Arizona, tanned and ready to kick off the spring/summer season on Monday, 13 May. It’ll be a shock if this means backsliding into long sleeves and tights, but we’ll do our best to reaclimate.

Here’s what the Grand Plan, once we’re rolling again, will look like:

Three weekly rides (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings ... Monday and Thursday events are typically designed for something in the 15 to 25 mile range, while Tuesday’s kinder-gentler rides shoot for 15 miles or less) all starting at 10:00 AM, returning by noon, and launching from a variety of starting locations. You’ll find these locations posted on our This Week and Next Week pages.  You’ll also find links to driving directions there. Our intent is ride right thru to Halloween, which is about as far into the fall as all but the most cold-adapted cyclists are likely to enjoy the increasingly nippy air.

For the really long view, visit Beyond Next Week. And don’t forget, as always, to check ride status before setting out for the start.  We use the This Week page to indicate weather-related postponements, so it’s a good habit to check it if things are looking iffy. Since iffy never happens in AZ, this is another thing we’ll to which we’ll have to adjust.
