Carlisle Town Hall

Directions to

Carlisle's Town Hall

Carlisle's Town Hall is located on Route 225 a long block west of the rotary that serves as "downtown". "A long block" in this case means, according to our mapping software, 0.11 miles from the exact center of the rotary; this is important because the Town Hall's access road is easy to miss. Unless you're wide awake and/or have an alert navigator in the right hand seat, you'll mistake it for a driveway. Turn just a whisker too late and you're in for a visit to the fire station or to Rockland Road (both, like the Town Hall, on the right for westbound drivers).

From Route 128/95

Get off 128/95 at Exit 31 and take Route 225 west through Bedford to Carlisle Center. At the Carlisle rotary (marked by a statue of a lachrymose woman, right arm raised in salute to her war dead), go halfway around and continue west on 225 toward Westford. Almost immediately (first real opportunity) turn right into the Town Hall's access road and continue past the front of the Hall to the parking area behind it. That does it; you're there.

Mapquest estimates the drive from 128 via this route should take about 20 minutes.

From Route 495

Take Exit 32 for Boston Road east toward Carlisle, cross directly over Route 110, and proceed from there as Boston Road becomes Carlisle Road and continues to a stop sign at Route 225. Turn left on 225 and drive to the Carlisle rotary unless, just before you reach the rotary, you spot the Town Hall on the left. Turn left if you do, continue to the rotary if you don't and, when you get there, make a complete loop around it, head west on 225, and follow the directions above.

Approximately twenty minutes are required to get from 495 to the Town Hall
