Wayland's Town Hall

Wayland's Town Hall is situated just off Route 20 near its intersection with the combined Route 126/Route 27, known locally as Cochituate Road. There are two entrances to the Town Hall complex, one from Route 126/Route 27/Cochitutate Road and another from Pelham Island Road; Route 126/Route 27 and Pelham Island Road intersect Route 20 within a block of each other, so it's six of one and a half dozen of another. Pelham Island is the western-most of the pair, so it's the fallback for those coming from Route 128/95 who miss the turn onto Route 126/Route 27. The complex includes, in addition to the Town Hall, an extensive set of playing fields. These aren't in use during the day but may be in the evening; this is a potential complicating factor if games in progress draw a sufficiently large crowd to fill the lot behind the Town Hall, our first choice for a rallying point. If this happens, park where you can and look for us. We'll be somewhere nearby.

If you'd like a second opinion on the best way to get from your house or place of business to the Town Hall, ask MapQuest: otherwise:

 From Route 128/95

Take exit 26 for Route 20 west toward Weston/Wayland and, once clear of the rotary and truly on Route 20, continue a little less than five miles to the lights in Wayland Center. Turn sharp left here onto Route 126/Route 27Cochituate Road. Almost immediately an opportunity to turn right into the Town Hall complex presents itself; turn right and drive in front of the Town Hall to a stop sign and an intersection. Go left and continue to the playing field parking area.

If you miss the left turn onto Route 126/27, continue a block down Route 20 to Pelham Island Road and turn left onto it. Almost immediately, turn left again into the Town Hall complex and continue straight ahead to the playing field parking area.

From Weston's Town Hall

Hop on Route 20 and follow the directions given above.

From Wellesley

Drive to Route 20 in Weston Center, then west on 20 as above.

From Sudbury

Take Route 27 to Route 20 (or, depending upon where you live, find Route 20 another way) and drive east to Pelham Island Road. Turn right onto it and, almost immediately left into the Town Hall complex and continue straight ahead to the playing field parking area.
