This is a handy place (when school's not in session) from which to explore White Pond, The Old Rifle Range, and the one-day-to-become Bruce Freeman Rail Trail connecting the two. Here's how to get there:

From Route 128/95

Take Exit 29B (Route 2 West toward Acton/Fitchburg), drive 3.5 miles to the lights where Route 2 breaks sharply west, and then continue another 3.0 miles on Route 2 to the lights at the Old Road to Nine Acre Corners, aka ORNAC (Emerson Hospital on the left). Turn left onto ORNAC, then immediately right onto Old Marlboro Road.  Drive Old Marlboro Road 1.6 miles, past the Concord Country Club and up a slight incline, to the School. It'll be on the left. Look for a Concord Middle School sign near the Road and a larger SANBORN on the building itself.
