Roche Brother's supermarket is only one of the many businesses operating from this mall, but it's the defining store for us because Lee likes their bargains. Not to mention that the Cycle Loft is right next door ... one stop shopping! So, whatever it's real name (for the record, it's shown as Burlington Plaza on the map), Roche Brothers mall is what we call it. There's plenty of parking, especially near the entrance, because it's a long walk from there to places where folks are waiting to sell you furniture, or lunch, or whatever. So look for us there, near the entrance and not far from the Loft. By the way, both the Northeast Bicycle Club (NEBC) and the Loft itself stage road rides from this same location, NEBC on Wednesday evenings (hill climbing) and the Loft early on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
To get there try this:
From Route 128/95
On it's website the Cycle Loft offers this advice: "Just get off at Exit 33A onto Route 3 South in Burlington (headed toward Winchester). Look for the 3-story tower just after the 2nd stoplight, 1/2 mile South of Route 128." That's basically it, except that you must turn left at the second light, just before the Loft, to enter the parking lot where we'll be.
From Lexington, Burlington, Winchester and other points relatively near the mall
Given that morning traffic on Route 128/95, even at 9 am, often resembles a parking lot itself, you may be tempted to use routes which eschew this nightmare. If you don't already know such a route, ask MapQuest for directions to "28 Cambridge Street" in Burlington. This is the Cycle Loft's address, but the mall entrance is at the light either just before the Cycle Loft (if you're inbound toward Boston on Route 3/Cambridge Street) or just after it (outbound).
Best of Luck!!
