Edith Desmond’s House (aka Party Place No. 1)

Hypothetically, Edith’s house is easy to find; just drive Route 62/Wilmington Road 1.6 miles from Route 3A/Cambridge Street to Park Drive, turn left and descend to Brookside Lane, then turn right on Brookside. PP-1 is about 0.1 miles along Brookside, on the right.  If you're not into hypotheticals and want something more solid, try this:

From 128/95

From all starting points, find the quickest way to Route 128/95 and drive it toward Burlington. From 128/95, take Route 3A (Exit 33) west toward Burlington Center, drive past the Common, past Winn Street (easily recognized, even if there's no obvious sign, as a morass of traffic lights and intersecting ways), and keep going to the lights at Route 62/Wilmington Road (these are about 2.4 miles from Route 128/95). At the lights turn right and continue 1.6 miles on Route 62 to Park Drive and turn left onto it (should you miss Park Drive you’ll almost immediately find yourself in Wilmington; not to worry, worse things could happen … just snap a U-turn).  Descend Park Drive to its “T” with Brookside Lane, turn right, and continue a very short distance to Edith’s House.  No way to get in trouble here; Brookside ends in a little loop.

An alternative

For some of you it may save a little time to exit Route 128/95 at Winn Street. If you exercise this option, just drive Winn Street to its intersection with Route 3A/Cambridge Street, turn right, continue to Route 62/Wilmington Road and follow the directions above from there.
