The Lincoln Mall

The Mall, co-located with Lincoln's MBTA commuter rail station on Lincoln Road just off Route 117, is serviced by a good-sized parking lot; your objective is to find the furthermost reaches of this lot. Because it's the devil's own job to get onto Route 117 from 128/95, we, and MapQuest, suggest avoiding 128 and using an "inside" route instead.

From Lincoln

Head for the train station and park when you get there.

From Wayland's Town Hall

Take Route 27 northwest to Route 126 (Concord Road), turn right on Route 126 and drive about 3.8 miles to its intersection with Route 117. Turn right on Route 117 and go about a half mile 'til the road forks, Lincoln Road bearing left-ish, Route 117 going right-ish; turn left onto Lincoln Road and drive another half mile, over the tracks, to the parking lot. Left into the lot.

Estimated driving time is 19 minutes.

From Weston's Town Hall

Take the Boston Post Road west to Concord Road, then climb Concord Road past the Campion Center and down a little way as it bears right, goes north toward Lincoln, and changes its name to Tower Road as it crosses from Weston to Lincoln. When Tower Road intersects Route 117 (South Great Road), turn left and go west on 117 about 0.6 miles until it forks, Codman Road branching to the right, 117 going left. Turn right onto Codman Road and continue about 0.4 miles to its intersection with Lincoln Road. Go right on Lincoln Road, over the commuter rail tracks, and left into the parking lot.

Estimated driving time from the Town Hall is 18 minutes.

From Route 128/95

We recommend avoiding Route 117 altogether; finding it from Route 128 is horribly confusing. Instead, get off 128/95 at Trapelo Road (Exit 28), go west toward Lincoln, drive two or two and a half miles to the five-way stop at Trapelo-Weston-Lincoln-Bedford-Sandy Pond Roads, and turn 90 degrees left onto Lincoln Road. Continue on Lincoln Road approximately a mile and a half to the Mall (on the right), and park. Cross over the commuter rail tracks and you've gone too far.
