Lincoln's DeCordova Museum

 Directions to

   Lincoln's DeCordova Museum

As always, the very best bet to is relieve us of all responsibility for getting you there by using a good suburban road atlas, Mapquest, or a GPS StreetFinder to guide you to the Museum. Failing this, you can try our directions, given below.

From Route 128/95

Take Exit 28 (Trapelo Road) west toward Lincoln. Drive Trapelo Road an uninterrupted distance of 2.6 miles to the first stop sign, which occurs at its intersection with Bedford Road/Lincoln Road. Drive straight across to Sandy Pond Road, and continue 0.5 miles to the DeCordova's entrance, on the right. Drive past the ticket booth (no parking fee on Mondays) and along the winding access road, past the many intriguing denizens of the sculpture park, all the way to the furthest reaches of the parking lot.

Other options Part 1: From the north

Inside Route 128/95:

A: From Lexington take Spring Street to Trapelo Road, cross over Route 128 on it, and follow the directions above.

B: From Lexington drive Route 2A to Route 2 and drive Route 2 to Bedford Road. Turn left on Bedford Road, then climb and descend to the stop sign at Sandy Pond Road. Go right on Sandy Pond Road and continue a half mile to the museum.

Outside Route 128/95:

Use much the same route you would to avoid Route 128 on the way to the Battle Road Visitors Center. That is to say, from Bedford take Route 62 toward Concord; shortly after crossing the Concord town line you'll pass the Scimione Family's farm stand on the right, and shortly after that come to Old Bedford Road (on the left). Turn left on OBR and continue to the stop sign at Lexington Road. Go left and climb to Route 2A. Go left here as well and drive east to Bedford Road; turn right onto it, cross Route 2, then climb and descend to the stop sign at Sandy Pond Road. Go right on Sandy Pond Road and continue a half mile to the museum.

Other options Part 2: From the south

From Weston's Town Hall:

Of the many possibilities, we suggest this one: West on the Post Road to Concord Road, right on Concord Road, and bear right to Merriam Street when the road forks. Drive Merriam Street to, and across Route 117, where it changes its name to Weston Road. Continue on Weston Road, making a sharp left at its intersection with Silver Hill Road, and drive to the multi-way stop at Weston Road-Bedford Road-Trapelo Road-Sandy Pond Road. Jog right-left to Sandy Pond Road and continue a half mile to the DeCordova.

From Wayland's Town Hall:

Take Route 126 north toward Lincoln and Route 117; cross Route 117 and continue past Saint Anne's Church to Baker Bridge Road (on the right). Turn right on Baker Bridge Road and drive to its T-intersection with Sandy Pond Road. Go right and drive to the DeCordova (on the left).
